Which Program is Right for You?

The best wellness program ultimately depends on what you value most from your life insurance.

Best for lifestyle rewards

AIA Vitality is the clear front-runner if you want to be genuinely incentivised to stay active, with gym discounts, Apple Watch rewards, shopping vouchers and flight cashback.

Best for passive premium discounts

TAL Health Sense offers up to 15% off premiums for maintaining a healthy BMI, with Health Sense Plus adding a further 5% for regular health checks.

Best for healthcare access

MetLife 360Health stands apart if your priority is access to virtual GPs, specialists, mental health clinicians, dietitians and broader family support.

Best for simple built-in savings

ClearView offers a competitive starting discount with minimal requirements and a periodic health questionnaire to reset your discount.

At Keep Insurance, we can help you compare policies across all of these insurers and work out which combination of cover and wellness benefits suits your lifestyle and budget. Any insurer discount is on top of our 12.5% cashback offer.

AIA Vitality is widely regarded as the most comprehensive wellness rewards program in the Australian life insurance market. It is a points-based system where you earn points for healthy behaviours such as gym visits, step counts, health checks and mindfulness, then climb through status tiers to unlock better rewards.

  • Premium discounts of up to 23% on new life, health or income protection policies, tied to ongoing engagement, regular health checks and BMI.
  • Gym membership discounts of up to 40% off at Fitness First, Anytime Fitness, Goodlife Health Clubs and Virgin Active.
  • Earn an Apple Watch by meeting weekly activity goals consistently over 24 months and progressively reducing or eliminating the monthly device payment.
  • Virgin Australia flight cashback of 10% at Bronze up to 50% at Platinum on eligible flights, for up to 2 flights per membership year.
  • Shopping vouchers from Myer, Woolworths, Amazon, Rebel, Bunnings, RedBalloon and more.

  • Up to $760 per year in combined active benefits and shopping rewards.

Program Cost: $12.50/month ($150/year). This fee is waived if you also hold an AIA Health Insurance policy.

TAL's approach is simpler and more passive than AIA Vitality: no app required and no points to track. The focus is on rewarding a healthy BMI with meaningful, ongoing premium discounts, plus an optional secondary layer for those who complete preventative health checks.

  • Up to 15% ongoing premium discount on Life, TPD and Critical Illness cover for those with a BMI between 19.0 and 28.0. Smokers are still eligible for up to 12.5%.
  • Automatically calculated at application, with no extra forms, tests or membership required.
  • Health Sense Plus adds a further 5% discount for 2 years after completion of a preventative health screening such as a blood pressure, blood glucose or skin check, renewable every two years.
  • Primary and secondary prevention focus, designed to reduce conditions like Type 2 diabetes, heart disease and cancer.

Program Cost: Free. No membership fee or separate enrolment required.

Zurich Evolve replaced the earlier LiveWell program and is available to all new and existing Zurich customers at no cost. It combines a points-based rewards app with access to a dedicated in-house medical team for those dealing with complex health needs.

  • Wellness app where you earn points by being active or completing health checks, then redeem them for retail rewards with partner brands.
  • My Wellbeing Hub, a resource library with evidence-based guides and tools to help members stay healthy.
  • In-house medical team available to help members manage chronic conditions and support return to work after illness or injury.

Program Cost: Free. Available to all new and existing Zurich policyholders at no additional cost.

OnePath, now owned by Zurich, runs the Evolve platform with a strong emphasis on clinical wellbeing support across body, mind and lifestyle. It goes beyond simple discounts to offer tailored programs for specific health conditions and recovery needs.

  • Three-pillar framework: Body, Mind and Life, with structured resources and programs for each area of wellbeing.
  • Programs designed by exercise physiologists, psychologists and occupational therapists to improve energy, sleep, nutrition and cognitive health.
  • Dedicated programs for chronic pain management, Long COVID and post-vaccine recovery, supported by physiotherapists, psychologists and exercise specialists.
  • On-site consultation available to assess what job duties can be safely performed during recovery, helping members return to work sooner.
  • Free national health services directory to help members locate government and community-based healthcare in their area.

Program Cost: Free. Included with eligible OnePath policies at no additional charge.

MetLife 360Health is the most clinically focused program in the market. Rather than gym discounts and retail rewards, it provides direct access to a team of medical specialists and allied health professionals. It is available to policyholders' immediate families at no extra cost, and has won Money Magazine's Health & Wellness Cover of the Year in both 2024 and 2025.

  • Virtual access to GPs, medical specialists, mental health clinicians, dietitians and exercise physiologists at no additional cost.
  • Expert Medical Opinion, where specialists review medical files and provide clinical opinions on diagnosis and treatment options. Mental health question responses are available within 24 hours.
  • Mental Wellness support, an expert-led virtual service for stress, anxiety, relationships, sleep and emotional wellbeing.
  • Menopause Support, an evidence-based program to help women manage symptoms and stay productive at work and home.
  • Nutrition and Fitness consultations with an accredited dietitian and exercise physiologist.
  • Recovery Support program for people dealing with a serious illness or injury, coordinating return-to-health and return-to-work pathways.
  • Delivered via Teladoc Health across five stages: prevention, early detection, return to health, return to work and ongoing care.
  • 10% premium discount if BMI is within 19.5 and 29.

Program Cost: Free. Automatically included with all MetLife policies for policyholders and their immediate families, including partner, children, parents and parents-in-law.

Acenda, which rebranded from MLC Life Insurance in September 2025, offers the Vivo program, providing policyholders and their families with free virtual healthcare services. It is a practical telehealth benefit that complements the core insurance product.

  • Doctors Online, with virtual GP consultations for policyholders and immediate family members.
  • Mental Health Navigator, offering guided support to find the right mental health resources and care pathways.
  • Expert Medical Opinion, with specialist review of medical files and treatment plans.
  • Fitness and Nutrition Consults, with access to exercise and dietary advice from qualified professionals.
  • 7.5% BMI-based premium discount for policyholders with a BMI between 18.5 and 28.5, applied automatically at underwriting.

Program Cost: Free. Included with eligible Acenda policies at no additional charge.

ClearView keeps it simple with a built-in discount for all new customers that rewards maintaining a healthy weight. There is no app, no points and no ongoing fitness requirements - just a periodic health questionnaire to retain your savings.

  • Up to 10% premium discount built into all new Life, TPD, income protection and business expense policies from day one.
  • Biennial discount reset: every 2 years, complete a short online health questionnaire covering height, weight, last GP visit and smoking status to reset your discount back to 10%.

Program Cost: Free. No membership fee or separate application required. Note: Zurich announced a proposed acquisition of ClearView in early 2026, expected to complete by Q3 2026.
